EndNote Basics

EndNote Basics In-Person

In this one-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of using EndNote, a citation management software used to manage citations in personal libraries and create bibliographies based on a number of available journal or writing styles. The workshop is designed to be a hands-on experience.

We strongly advise that if your personal computer is a laptop that you please bring it with you. If you do not have a laptop to bring, you may request that we set up one of the few library PC laptops for you by checking the radio button for this in the registration form.

 

Learning objectives for this workshop

  • Acquiring EndNote through the OHSU Library
  • Manage citations by creating an EndNote library
  • Download and import citations though a variety of databases such as PubMed
  • Create bibliographies in a number of journal and writing styles
