Hello! As OHSU's Data and Research Engagement Librarian, in addition to assisting members of the OHSU community and the public with literature searches and citation management, I specialize in questions and needs related to data and computational literacy, research reproducibility, publishing, copyright, and research impact.

Some specific things I can help you with are:

Publishing topics, including:
- Copyright and fair use
- Identifying trustworthy publishing venues
- Questions about the NIH Public Access Policy
- Understanding modern research metrics
- Assessing the impact of your research outputs for tenure/promotion and grant renewals
Data management and sharing topics for research faculty and staff, including:
- Writing Data Management and Sharing Plans (DMSP) for the new NIH DMSP Policy
- Interpreting funder, journal, and publisher data management and sharing policies
- Data management planning and organization
- Selecting and using scientific data standards, schemas and software
- Documenting, storing, sharing and preserving scientific data
- Finding, accessing and acquiring scientific datasets for reuse in research studies
