EndNote Basics Online

EndNote is a popular reference management tool at OHSU. Sign up for this hands-on workshop to learn how to use it!

We will cover:

  • How to build and organize an EndNote Library
  • How to use EndNote to find full text PDFs for articles via the OHSU Library Catalog
  • How to use the EndNote Add-in for Microsoft Word to create and format citations and bibliographies

Prerequisites:

  • Please visit our Citation and Reference Management Guide to download and install the site-licensed EndNote desktop client before the workshop begins
  • Make sure you have Microsoft Word installed. IMPORTANT: Make sure Word is closed when you install EndNote, otherwise the plugin will not install correctly
  • The instructor will open the class 15 minutes early to handle any installation technical support needs

Please note:

  • Because OHSU's EndNote site license is limited to OHSU Members, this workshop is limited to OHSU Members only, and you will need to log in with your OHSU credentials to register
